Iloperidone (pronounced as i-loe-per'i-done) is an atypical antipsychotic medication used for the treatment of schizophrenia. It is marketed under the brand name Fanapt and Zomaril.

Etymology

The term "Iloperidone" is derived from its chemical name, which is 4'-[3-[4-(6-Fluoro-1,2-benzisoxazol-3-yl)piperidin-1-yl]propoxy]-3'-methoxyacetophenone.
