Cloranolol

Cloranolol is a beta blocker used in the treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris. It is a non-selective beta blocker, meaning it blocks both beta-1 and beta-2 adrenergic receptors.
Pharmacology[edit]
Cloranolol works by blocking the action of certain natural chemicals in your body, such as epinephrine, on the heart and blood vessels. This effect reduces heart rate, blood pressure, and strain on the heart.
Uses[edit]
Cloranolol is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina pectoris (chest pain). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.
Side Effects[edit]
Common side effects of Cloranolol include dizziness, lightheadedness, or tiredness. These side effects are usually temporary and often decrease as your body adjusts to this medication. Other side effects include shortness of breath, unusual sweating, sudden weight gain, and swelling of the hands or feet.
Interactions[edit]
Cloranolol can interact with other medications, herbs, or vitamins you might be taking. An interaction is when a substance changes the way a drug works. This can be harmful or prevent the drug from working well.
Precautions[edit]
Before taking Cloranolol, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.
