Dodge County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 89,396. The county seat is Juneau. The county was created in 1836 and organized in 1844.
History[edit]
Dodge County was established in 1836 as part of the Wisconsin Territory. It was named after Henry Dodge, the first governor of the Wisconsin Territory. The county was organized in 1844, with Juneau as the county seat.
Geography[edit]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 907 square miles (2,350 km²), of which 876 square miles (2,270 km²) is land and 31 square miles (80 km²) (3.4%) is water. The county is characterized by its rolling hills, lakes, and rivers.
