Clark County, Wisconsin is a county located in the state of Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 34,659. The county seat is Neillsville. The county was created in 1853 and organized in 1854.
Geography
Clark County covers an area of approximately 1,219 square miles (3,160 km²), of which 1,215 square miles (3,150 km²) is land and 4.0 square miles (10 km²) (0.3%) is water. The county is characterized by its diverse landscape, which includes forests, rivers, and agricultural land.

Demographics
As of the 2020 census, there were 34,659 people, 13,678 households, and 9,234 families residing in the county. The population density was 28.5 inhabitants per square mile (11.0/km²). The racial makeup of the county was predominantly White, with small percentages of other races including Native American, Asian, and African American.
Economy
The economy of Clark County is largely based on agriculture, with dairy farming being a significant component. The county is also home to various manufacturing and service industries.
Education
Clark County is served by several school districts, including the Neillsville School District, Owen-Withee School District, and Greenwood School District. Higher education opportunities are available at nearby institutions such as University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.
