Lenvima - (pronounced) (len-VEE-muh) A medicine used alone or with other medicines to treat certain types of endometrial cancer, renal cell carcinoma (a type of kidney cancer), hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer ) and thyroid cancer. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Lenvima blocks certain proteins that can help stop cancer cells from growing and kill them. It can also prevent the growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. Lenvima is a type of tyrosine kinase inhibitor and a type of anti-angiogenesis drug. Also called lenvatinib mesylate
