IOS Version History is a chronological overview of the various software updates and enhancements that have been made to Apple's iOS mobile operating system since its initial release in 2007.

Unlike Microsoft's Windows and Google's Android operating systems, iOS is proprietary software, meaning Apple exclusively controls its development and distribution.
