DiDi

DiDi is a Chinese multinational ride-hailing company headquartered in Beijing, China. History

DiDi was founded in 2012 by Cheng Wei, a former executive at Alibaba Group. The company was initially established as a taxi-hailing app, Didi Dache, and later merged with its main competitor, Kuaidi Dache, to form Didi Kuaidi. In 2016, the company was rebranded as DiDi Chuxing.
