Nike+iPod
The Nike+iPod was a collaboration between Apple Inc. and Nike, Inc. that integrated iPod technology with Nike footwear to create a fitness tracking system. The product was designed to help users track their running and workout statistics, such as distance, pace, and calories burned.

The Nike+iPod system consisted of a sensor that was placed inside a specially designed compartment in the sole of a Nike+ shoe and a receiver that was connected to an iPod Nano. The sensor communicated wirelessly with the iPod to record workout data.

The Nike+iPod was compatible with the iPod Nano, iPod Touch, and iPhone models that supported the Nike+ app. It required Nike+ shoes or a shoe pouch to hold the sensor.
Discontinuation[edit]
The Nike+iPod was discontinued on September 7, 2010, as newer technologies and devices, such as the iPhone and Apple Watch, began to offer more advanced fitness tracking capabilities.
