Eddy Cue

Eddy Cue is a senior executive at Apple Inc., where he oversees the company's content stores, including the iTunes Store, Apple Music, and Apple Pay. He is also in charge of Apple's maps, iWork, and iCloud services. Cue joined Apple in 1989 and has been a key player in the creation and success of various Apple services.

Early Life and Education[edit]

Eddy Cue was born Eduardo H. Cue in 1964. He graduated from Duke University in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics.

Career at Apple Inc.[edit]

Cue joined Apple in 1989, starting in the company's customer support division and later becoming the manager of software engineering and customer support teams. He was instrumental in creating Apple's online store in 1998, the iTunes Store in 2003, and the App Store in 2008.

In 2011, Cue was promoted to Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services, overseeing Apple's content stores and iCloud. He was also responsible for the creation and launch of Apple Pay in 2014 and Apple Music in 2015.

Cue has been recognized for his contributions to Apple's success and has been named to Fortune's "Businessperson of the Year" list multiple times.

Personal Life[edit]

Cue is a big sports fan and serves on the board of directors for Ferrari. He is also a significant supporter of his alma mater, Duke University.
