tvOS is an operating system developed by Apple Inc. for the Apple TV digital media player. It was first announced on September 9, 2015, and is based on iOS, sharing many of its features and technologies. tvOS is designed to provide a seamless and interactive experience for users accessing digital content on their televisions.
