The iPhone 3GS is a smartphone that was designed and marketed by Apple Inc.. It is the third generation of the iPhone and was announced on June 8, 2009, at the WWDC 2009 which took place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The "S" in the iPhone 3GS stands for "Speed," referring to the improved performance compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 3G.

The iPhone 3GS introduced several new features and improvements over the iPhone 3G, including:
- A faster 600 MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor.
