Out (2020 film)
Out is a 2020 American computer-animated short film directed by Steven Clay Hunter, produced by Pixar Animation Studios, and distributed by Disney+. The film is part of the SparkShorts series and was released on May 22, 2020.
Plot
The story follows Greg, a young man who is preparing to move to the city with his boyfriend, Manuel. Greg has not yet come out to his parents, who unexpectedly visit to help him pack. Through a magical twist, Greg's mind is swapped with his dog's, Jim. As Greg navigates the situation in his dog's body, he learns to embrace his true self and comes out to his parents.

Out was directed and written by Steven Clay Hunter, who has worked on various other Pixar projects. The film's music was composed by Jake Monaco. Out is notable for being one of the first Pixar films to feature a LGBTQ+ main character.
