Lincoln, a native of Illinois, is one of the most prominent figures associated with the Illinois Republican Party.
Organization[edit]
The Illinois Republican Party is organized at the state, county, and local levels. The state party is governed by the Illinois Republican State Central Committee, which is composed of members elected from each of the state's congressional districts. The party's activities include candidate recruitment, fundraising, and organizing grassroots efforts to support Republican candidates and policies.
Political Positions[edit]
The Illinois Republican Party generally supports conservative policies, including lower taxes, limited government, and free-market principles. The party also emphasizes the importance of individual liberties, a strong national defense, and traditional family values.

- Abraham Lincoln - 16th President of the United States
