These references often take the form of Easter eggs, hidden details, or subtle nods that fans enjoy discovering. Below is a list of some notable references found in various Pixar films.

A113[edit]

A113 is a recurring Easter egg in Pixar films, referring to the classroom number used by graphic design and character animation students at the California Institute of the Arts. This number appears in various forms across many Pixar movies, such as a license plate in Toy Story and a courtroom number in Cars.

Pizza Planet Truck[edit]

The Pizza Planet truck, first seen in Toy Story, makes an appearance in almost every Pixar film. It has been spotted in A Bug's Life, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, and many others.

Luxo Ball[edit]

The Luxo Ball, a yellow ball with a blue stripe and a red star, originates from the short film Luxo Jr.. It has since appeared in numerous Pixar films, including Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., and Up.

John Ratzenberger[edit]

John Ratzenberger, often referred to as Pixar's "good luck charm," has voiced a character in every Pixar film. His roles include Hamm in Toy Story, P.T. Flea in A Bug's Life, and Mack in Cars.

The Incredibles References[edit]

In Finding Nemo, a boy in the dentist's office is seen reading a comic book featuring Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles. Additionally, in Ratatouille, Bomb Voyage from The Incredibles can be seen as a mime in the background.

WALL-E References[edit]

In Toy Story 3, a calendar in Andy's room features an image of WALL-E. Additionally, in Up, a toy version of WALL-E can be seen in a child's room.
