- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped

- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh vegetables for serving (e.g., cucumber, carrot, celery)
Instructions[edit]
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain the fat.
- Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and celery to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the chili simmer for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve the chili with fresh vegetables on the side.
