Keto Chicken Burger with Jalapeno Aioli[edit]
Keto friendly recipe for a delicious and spicy chicken burger with jalapeno aioli.
Ingredients[edit]
- 500g chicken mince
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- lettuce leaves
- olive oil for cooking
For the Jalapeno Aioli[edit]
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 jalapeno, seeds removed and finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt to taste
Instructions[edit]
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken mince, egg, almond flour, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Shape the mixture into patties and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the jalapeno aioli. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, jalapeno, garlic, lime juice, and salt. Mix well.
- To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on a plate, top with a chicken patty, slices of avocado and tomato, and a generous dollop of jalapeno aioli.
