Stuffed artichoke hearts (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 4-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 8F.
  2. If necessary, slice off the bottom of each artichoke heart so that it sits upright.
  3. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic, chives, salt and pepper.
  4. Stuff hearts with cream cheese mixture, mounding slightly on top.
  5. Roll stuffed hearts in melted butter and then in Parmesan cheese.
  6. Place in a shallow ovenproof dish and bakefor 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
