Definition[edit]

A condition in which abnormal cells are found in the lobules (glands that make milk) of the breast.

Nature[edit]

This condition rarely becomes cancer.

Increases risk[edit]

Having lobular neoplasia in one breast increases the risk of breast cancer in either breast.

Also called LIN and lobular intraepithelial neoplasia.
