Amevive - (pronounced) (A-meh-veev) A drug used to treat certain skin conditions and being studied for the treatment of cutaneous (skin-related) T-cell cancer and T-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Amevive is made by combining part of an antibody with a protein that blocks the growth of some types of T cells. It's kind of a fusion protein and kind of an immunosuppressant. Also called alefacept
