The Batman franchise is a media franchise based on the DC Comics character Batman, who was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. The franchise encompasses a wide range of media, including comic books, television series, films, video games, and merchandise.
Comic Books[edit]
The Batman character first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. Since then, Batman has been featured in numerous comic book series, including Batman, Detective Comics, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, and Batman: Year One.
