DC Entertainment
DC Entertainment is an American entertainment company that serves as the creative division of Warner Bros., a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery. It was founded in September 2009 to oversee its parent company's DC Comics properties, which include characters such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Green Lantern. The company is responsible for managing the development and production of films, television series, and other media based on DC Comics characters.
History
DC Entertainment was established to leverage the success of DC Comics' characters across various media platforms. The first president of DC Entertainment was Diane Nelson, who was appointed in September 2009.
