Geography

Geography (pronunciation: /dʒiˈɒɡrəfi/) is the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments. It is derived from the Greek words "geōgraphia", meaning "earth description".

Geographers explore both the physical properties of Earth's surface and the human societies spread across it. They also examine how human culture interacts with the natural environment, and the way that locations and places can have an impact on people. Geography seeks to understand where things are found, why they are there, and how they develop and change over time.

Physical Geography

Physical Geography (pronunciation: /ˈfɪzɪkəl dʒiˈɒɡrəfi/) is a subfield of geography that studies the natural features and phenomena of the Earth. It aims to understand the physical problems and the issues of lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, pedosphere, and global flora and fauna patterns.

Human Geography

Human Geography (pronunciation: /ˈhjuːmən dʒiˈɒɡrəfi/) is a branch of geography that focuses on the study of patterns and processes that shape the human society. It encompasses the human, political, cultural, social, and economic aspects.
