Andrology, a specialized branch of medicine, primarily focuses on the health of the male reproductive system and associated conditions. Parallel to gynaecology, which is dedicated to female reproductive health, andrology has carved its niche in medical science, addressing the unique health challenges faced by men.

While many branches of medicine have ancient origins, andrology, as a distinct medical specialty, has relatively recent roots.
