Yale School of Architecture is one of the constituent professional schools of Yale University, located in New Haven, Connecticut. It is widely recognized as one of the leading architecture schools in the world. The school offers a range of programs including the Master of Architecture (M.Arch), Master of Environmental Design (M.E.D.), and Ph.D. in Architecture.

History[edit]

The Yale School of Architecture was established in 1916 as the Department of Architecture within the Yale School of Fine Arts. It became an independent professional school in 1972. The school has a rich history of influential faculty and alumni, including Paul Rudolph, who served as the chair of the department from 1958 to 1965, and Robert A. M. Stern, who served as dean from 1998 to 2016.
