Silliman College
Silliman College is one of the fourteen residential colleges at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Named after the prominent chemist and Yale professor Benjamin Silliman, the college was established in 1940 and is known for its distinctive Gothic architecture and vibrant community life.

Silliman College was named in honor of Benjamin Silliman, a pioneering chemist and science educator at Yale. The college was established as part of Yale's residential college system, which was inspired by the collegiate systems at Oxford University and Cambridge University.
