Columbia College is the oldest undergraduate college of Columbia University, a private Ivy League research university located in New York City. Established in 1754, it is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the United States.

During the American Revolutionary War, instruction was suspended in 1776, and the college's building was used as a military hospital and barracks.
