Lamont Library

Lamont Library is one of the libraries of Harvard University, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It primarily serves the undergraduate students of Harvard College and is part of the Harvard Library system. The library is named after Thomas W. Lamont, a prominent banker and philanthropist who was a graduate of Harvard.

Lamont Library was opened in 1949 and was the first library in the United States specifically designed for undergraduate use. The library was designed by the architectural firm of Coolidge, Shepley, Bulfinch, and Abbott, which also designed several other buildings on the Harvard campus.
