The extra iron gets stored in the liver, heart, and pancreas, which can lead to liver disease, heart problems, organ failure, and cancer. It can also cause bronze skin, diabetes, pain in the joints and abdomen, fatigue and impotence. Hemochromatosis can be inherited or caused by blood transfusions. Also called iron overload
