== Geography of Equatorial Guinea ==

Equatorial Guinea is a country located on the west coast of Central Africa. It consists of a mainland region, Río Muni, and several islands, including the prominent islands of Bioko and Annobón. The country is bordered by Cameroon to the north, Gabon to the east and south, and the Gulf of Guinea to the west.

Mainland Region

The mainland region, known as Río Muni, covers an area of approximately 26,000 square kilometers. It is characterized by its tropical rainforest climate, with high humidity and significant rainfall throughout the year. The terrain is mostly coastal plains with some hills and low mountains.
