Columbia University Roy and Diana Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons is a medical school in the (US) state of New York, located in the city of Manhattan, The medical school was established in the year 1767. It offers an MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree, upon successful graduation. The affiliated hospital or health system: 1767 Medical Faculty of King's College, 1792 Medical Faculty of Columbia College, 1814 merged with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in the City of New York, 1860 Medical Department of Columbia College, 1896 Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
