Asado (/ɑːˈsɑːdoʊ/; Spanish: [aˈsaðo]) is a type of barbecue technique and the social event of having or attending a barbecue in various South American countries, particularly in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil.
