Indian people are the citizens and nationals of India, the second-most populous country in the world, with over 1.3 billion people. The term "Indian" refers to the nationality and is not limited to any specific ethnic group or religion. Demographics[edit]
India is a multilingual and multicultural society. The country is home to several major ethnic groups, including Indo-Aryan, Dravidian, Mongoloid, and others. The Indo-Aryan group constitutes the majority of the population, followed by the Dravidian group.
Languages[edit]

Economy[edit]
India has a mixed economy with agriculture, manufacturing, and services sectors. It is one of the world's fastest-growing major economies. Key industries include information technology, telecommunications, textiles, automobiles, and pharmaceuticals.
Education[edit]
India has a well-established education system with numerous universities, colleges, and schools. Prominent institutions include the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), and All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
