A Potato pancake (pronunciation: /pəˈteɪtoʊ ˈpænˌkeɪk/) is a type of pancake made from grated or ground potato, flour and eggs, often flavored with grated onion or garlic and seasoning. The dish is sometimes made from mashed potatoes to produce a pancake that is softer in texture.
