LinkedIn Learning is an American massive open online course (MOOC) provider. It offers video courses taught by industry experts in software, creative, and business skills. LinkedIn Learning is a subsidiary of LinkedIn, which is owned by Microsoft.

History[edit]

LinkedIn Learning was originally known as Lynda.com, founded in 1995 by Lynda Weinman. The platform was one of the first to offer online video-based learning. In 2015, LinkedIn acquired Lynda.com for $1.5 billion. Following the acquisition, the service was rebranded as LinkedIn Learning in 2017.
