Adolfo Pérez Esquivel

Adolfo Pérez Esquivel (born 26 November 1931) is an Argentine human rights activist and artist who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1980 for his leadership in the defense of human rights in Latin America. He is renowned for his work in promoting peace and justice, particularly during the period of military dictatorships in Argentina and other Latin American countries.
