Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. is an American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate. It was formed through the merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery, Inc. on April 8, 2022. The company is headquartered in New York City.

The origins of Warner Bros. Discovery can be traced back to the founding of Warner Bros. in 1923 by Harry, Albert, Sam, and Jack Warner. Warner Bros. became a major player in the film industry, known for producing iconic films and television shows.
Discovery, Inc. was founded in 1985 by John Hendricks and became known for its non-fiction programming, including the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and TLC.
The merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery, Inc. was announced in May 2021 and completed in April 2022, creating one of the largest media companies in the world.
