The Ore Mountains (German: Erzgebirge; Czech: Krušné hory) are a mountain range located in Central Europe, stretching across the border between Germany and the Czech Republic. The mountains are primarily known for their rich deposits of various ores, which have been mined for centuries.

Geography

The Ore Mountains extend from the state of Saxony in eastern Germany to the northwestern part of the Czech Republic.
