Franck (company) is a Croatian food company that specializes in the production of coffee and tea. It was established in 1827 and has since grown to become one of the leading food companies in Southeast Europe.

History[edit]

Franck was founded by Josef Gerstner, who opened a small factory for the production of chocolate and candy in Vienna. In 1892, the company was taken over by Julius Meinl, who expanded the product range to include coffee. The company was named after Meinl's son, Franck.

In the early 20th century, Franck expanded its operations to Croatia, where it established a factory in Zagreb. The company quickly gained popularity in the region due to its high-quality products and innovative marketing strategies.

During the World War II, Franck was nationalized by the Yugoslav government. However, it was privatized again in the 1990s following the Breakup of Yugoslavia.

Today, Franck is known for its wide range of products, including various types of coffee, tea, and instant beverages. The company exports its products to more than 20 countries worldwide.

Products[edit]

Franck's product range includes ground coffee, instant coffee, coffee beans, coffee capsules, and various types of tea. The company is particularly known for its Jubilarna coffee, which is one of the most popular coffee brands in Croatia.

In addition to coffee and tea, Franck also produces cereals, snacks, and confectionery products.
