List_of_yogurt-based_dishes_and_beverages is a comprehensive compilation of various dishes and beverages that are primarily made using yogurt. Dovga is a yogurt soup cooked with a variety of herbs and rice, a specialty from Azerbaijan.
Beverages
Ayran is a traditional cold beverage of yogurt mixed with cold water and sometimes salt; it is popular in many Central Asian, Middle Eastern and South-eastern European countries.
Doogh is a cold savory yogurt-based beverage that is mixed with salt. It is popular in Iran, Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey.
Kefir is a fermented milk drink similar to a thin yogurt that is made from kefir grains, a specific type of mesophilic symbiotic culture.
