White Memorial Fountain
White Memorial Fountain, also known as The Claw, is a prominent fountain located on the Stanford University campus in Stanford, California. It was designed by Aristides Demetrios and was dedicated in 1964. The fountain is a popular landmark and gathering spot for students and visitors alike.

The White Memorial Fountain was commissioned by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond B. White in memory of their sons, William N. White and John B. White, both of whom were Stanford alumni. The fountain was designed to symbolize the dynamic and innovative spirit of the university.
