View (Medical Term)

View (pronounced: vyoo) is a term used in the medical field to describe the angle or direction from which a structure is observed or imaged.

Etymology

The term "view" originates from the Old French "veue", meaning "sight", which is derived from the Latin "videre", meaning "to see".
