Trestolone Acetate

Trestolone Acetate (pronunciation: tres-toh-lone a-seh-tate), also known as 7α-methyl-19-nortestosterone (MENT), is a synthetic and injected anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) and a derivative of nandrolone.

Etymology

The term "Trestolone Acetate" is derived from its chemical structure. "Trestolone" is a modification of the hormone testosterone, with a methyl group added at the 7 alpha position. "Acetate" refers to the ester that is attached to the hormone, which affects its release pattern in the body.

Usage

Trestolone Acetate is used in scientific research and has been proposed as a potential male hormonal contraceptive. It is a potent form of anabolic-androgenic steroid, significantly more potent than testosterone. It is not currently approved for use in humans.
