Neuroimmunology (pronunciation: /ˌnʊəroʊˌɪmjʊˈnɒlədʒi/) is a branch of immunology that deals specifically with the interrelationships of the nervous system and immune system.

Etymology

The term "Neuroimmunology" is derived from Neuro meaning nerve, Immuno referring to immune system and logy meaning study. Thus, it is the study of the interaction between our nervous system and immune system.
