Manchu Wok

Manchu Wok is a Canadian-based chain of fast food restaurants that specializes in Chinese cuisine. The company was founded in Peterborough, Ontario in 1980 by Jack Lew and Mandy Lew. Manchu Wok is known for its quick service and a variety of Chinese dishes, including fried rice, lo mein, General Tso's chicken, and egg rolls.

Manchu Wok was established in 1980 in Peterborough, Ontario. The founders, Jack and Mandy Lew, aimed to provide a fast food option that offered traditional Chinese dishes. The first restaurant was a success, leading to rapid expansion across Canada and into the United States.
In 1992, Manchu Wok was acquired by Scott's Hospitality Inc., which further expanded the brand. In 2000, the company was sold to Laurel Capital Partners, and in 2014, it was acquired by MTY Food Group, a Canadian franchisor and operator of numerous restaurant brands.
