From WikiMD's Wellness Encyclopedia

Mücver is a traditional Turkish dish, often described as a type of fritter or pancake. It is typically made with grated zucchini, though other vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, or spinach can also be used. Mücver is commonly served as a side dish, appetizer, or even a main course.

Ingredients[edit]

The primary ingredients for mücver include:

Preparation[edit]

1. Grate the zucchini and squeeze out the excess water using a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth. 2. In a large bowl, combine the grated zucchini, eggs, flour, chopped dill, parsley, green onions, and feta cheese if using. Season with salt and pepper. 3. Mix the ingredients until well combined. 4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. 5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil, flattening them slightly with the back of the spoon. 6. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. 7. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Serving[edit]

Mücver is often served with yogurt or garlic yogurt sauce. It can be enjoyed hot or at room temperature. It is a popular dish during the summer months when zucchini is in season.
