Jamba Juice

Jamba Juice is a chain of smoothie and juice stores, headquartered in Frisco, Texas. The company was founded in 1990 by Kirk Perron, an avid cyclist and healthy lifestyle advocate, along with his friends Joe Vergara, Kevin Peters, and Linda Ozawa Olds. Jamba Juice is known for its wide variety of smoothies, juices, and other health-oriented beverages and snacks.
History[edit]
Jamba Juice was originally established as "Juice Club" in San Luis Obispo, California. The first store opened in April 1990. In 1995, the company changed its name to Jamba Juice. The brand quickly expanded, opening numerous locations across the United States and internationally.
In 2006, Jamba Juice was acquired by Services Acquisition Corp. International, a special purpose acquisition company, and became a publicly traded company. In 2018, Jamba Juice was acquired by Focus Brands, a subsidiary of Roark Capital Group.
