Hemipelvectomy
Hemipelvectomy is the amputation of a lower limb and part of the pelvis through the sacroiliac joint.

What does it involve?[edit]
It involves amputation of an entire lower extremity through the sacroiliac joint, and hip disarticulation, which involves amputation of an entire lower extremity through the hip joint capsule and closure of the remaining musculature over the exposed acetabular bone.

Limb sparing internal hemipelvectomy[edit]
An internal hemipelvectomy is a limb-sparing procedure. In this procedure, the innominate bone is resected at the same time as preserving the ipsilateral limb.
