Heliport is a specially designed area, either at ground level, atop a building, or on a structure, dedicated to the landing, take-off, and sometimes parking of helicopters. They provide a critical infrastructure component for rapid response teams, allowing for the quick transport of patients, personnel, or resources to and from locations not accessible by conventional aircraft.

Challenges

Despite their utility, heliports face challenges such as noise pollution, which can affect nearby residential areas, and the need for stringent safety measures to prevent accidents. Additionally, the construction of heliports, especially in urban areas, requires significant investment and regulatory approval, which can be a complex and time-consuming process.
