Harley Quinn
Harley Quinn is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, and first appeared in Batman: The Animated Series in September 1992. Harley Quinn later appeared in DC Comics' The Batman Adventures #12 (September 1993).
Character Biography
Harley Quinn, whose real name is Dr. Harleen Quinzel, was originally a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum in Gotham City. She fell in love with the Joker during his sessions and eventually became his accomplice and lover. She adopted the Harlequin persona, complete with a red and black costume, and became known as Harley Quinn.
Powers and Abilities
Harley Quinn does not possess any superhuman abilities, but she is an expert gymnast and has enhanced strength and agility due to her training. She is also highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat and proficient with various weapons, including her signature oversized mallet and baseball bat.
