Hamburger University is a training facility at the McDonald's Corporation global headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. It was established in 1961 to provide training for McDonald's employees in restaurant management. History

Hamburger University was founded by Ray Kroc, the founder of the McDonald's Corporation. The first campus was located in the basement of a McDonald's restaurant in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. In 1983, Hamburger University moved to a new, purpose-built campus in Oak Brook, Illinois.
